After Cisco’s major changes in February 2020, CCNP Intermediate Certification is the most popular certification exam, while CCNP Enterprise Certification is the certification program that candidates choose the most.

Cisco CCNP Certification From 2020 to the present, the CCNP tracks are as follows:

  1. Enterprise
  2. Security
  3. Service Provider
  4. Collaboration
  5. Data Center

While these are the five core exams that network engineers can take, they must also take concentration exams in core topics to earn the CCNP certification. If someone takes only the core exam and passes, she will be certified as a Cisco Certified Professional in that subject area.

Network engineers can take multiple core or concentration exams and, upon passing, earn the Cisco Certified Professional certification, which demonstrates to employers that engineers possess these specific skills.

No matter how many core exams you are preparing to take in 2022, you must also take one of the concentration examsin order to gain CCNP certification.
